is a unique VA designed for the pilots who fly not for some
administrative team that sits in a stuffy office in Madrid!
Seems like there are two extremes in the world of Virtual
Airlines: 1. Those with dozens of hubs and hundreds of routes…hub managers
and maintenance supervisors…those that require you to use a black box
and file super-detailed reports…where your company looses money if you
taxi too fast or report to the gate 3 minutes late.
Those airlines that are run, “As Real As It Gets.” 2. Those with one or two planes on a given route.
(No joking, I’ve seen those:
“Join our airline today. We
feature the 757-200 flying between Frankfurt/Hahn and Athens”) According
to one of our own pilots, “Flight Club Airways is the perfect balance
in the middle - The freedom for the pilot within the structure for the
VA.” That’s right, we
don’t require you to fly 3,000 hours before moving up the ranks but if
you want to do everything by the book and use VATSIM live ATC and add-on
sceneries and specific terminals, you can do all that here.

Well, you see, this VA was designed BY pilots FOR pilots.
We’d rather see you get a wide variety of flying rather than
logging 31,000 hours in an MD-83! So that’s exactly what we offer at FCA…More planes,
more places. There will be a new challenge each month for those willing to take it on (that’s part of moving up the ranks) but you also are granted the flexibility to fly what you want, where you want, when you want (within the limitations of your Pilot Rank.) So if you don’t like the challenge put up for this month, you can always join us next month. What’s fantastic about our VA is that within your pilot ranking, you can be as consistent or as schizophrenic as you like: So one day you may find yourself cramming Caravans into high, mountain passes and the next week you’ll be hauling cargo in our C-5. One week you’ll be trying to stretch the range on that old DC-3 or you’ll be number four for landing in that modern, fly-by-wire A320. Or, if you want to fly the 767, like a “Real Pilot,” on just one or two certain routes – managing all your flights very carefully, you can do all that with Flight Club Airways. You
