Peter Stark

Peter is a 47 year old winemaker from the Western Australian premium wine growing region of Margaret River.

When not tending his vines or wines, he is tending his dear wife & 3 young boys who are very tolerant of his flight simming hobby. When not in his cockpit (office), he can also be found in his role as a Cub Scout Leader, or cycling, reading & caring for Australian marsupials.

He started real world flying in 1974 & after completing his Private Pilots Licence on his 17th birthday, went on to spend some time in the with Royal Australian Navy 's Fleet Air Arm before moving to the private sector. He has experience in a wide range of aircraft types including small jets. His flying has now mostly progressed to the virtual kind although still keeps a licence.

Peter started flightsimming in the early 1980's on a 16KHz Z80 processor (a what?!) & has developed a passion for not only flying Microsoft's Flight Simulator but dissecting it as well & has produced a number of scenery packages, AFCAD files & aircraft panels.

Peter is also a regular contributor to Computer Pilot magazine with articles covering a wide range of topics from tweaking configuration files, creating scenery & panels, & investigating some less common ways of using MS Flight Simulator such as aircraft carrier operations & soaring.
