Brad Quiring

Biography: Bradley Quiring

Home FBO: Arequipa, Perú (SPQU)

Nationality: Canadian

Age: 40 something

Family: Married to Lori, 3 kids

My first flight was an Air Canada DC-9-10 flight from Toronto to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan as a 7 year old.

I have since flown in several types of airliners, with most traveler hours in LAN Peru Airbus A320's and A319's.

My first touch of aircraft controls came as a 12 year old in a Taylorcraft F-15.

As a lifelong aviation enthusiast I have enjoyed anything and everything related to aviation and space flight. When Microprose released Flight Simulator II for Atari 8-bit computers I grabbed a copy and started down a flight path that I have never diverted from. Since those days I have also actively flown Chuck Yeager's Test Pilot, Falcon 3.0, Flight Unlimited 1, MSFS 95, 98, 2002, FS9, FSX as well as Flight Gear Open Source FSim.

I have always enjoyed using Lee Swordy's AFCAD to modify airports in FS2002 and FS2004. I am also an active user of Abacus EZ Scenery Placer.

My favourite aircraft by a long shot is the deHavilland DHC-2 Beaver and Turbo Beaver. The DHC-6 Twin Otter is a close second. For airliners in real life and virtual life it is the small Airbus line.

One day in FS2002 days I was looking for some new simming adventures on the internet and google came back with www.toomuchfs.com. After filing some PIREP's the exec board realized the only way to control me was to invite me on staff. I had aspired to one day overthrow the cubflounder and take over as dictator for life. Upon further contemplation, I decided it was too much hassle so Mr. Blehm can keep his job.

Please don't hesitate to write me at qsinperu@gmail.com if you have any comments about flight simming. Any critiques or complaints will immediately be forwarded to my esteemed colleagues Bill Smith or Geert Rolf.
